Perfect place to stay in Qingdao

Location is good. Easy access to everthing in old town within 5-15 minutes walk. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and can communicate well in English (which is rare in China). Nice facilities, especially the balcony and common area in the 4th floor. Breakfast is excellent, good taste and can order till 3pm. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Qingdao.

Fantastic value for money, great location

Lovely historic building. I had a very comfortable and spacious private room in this hostel which was fantastic value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great - I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go, including the railway station. I was very touched by the little gift bag they gave me when I was leaving!

The history of this place , center of everything near by station and the receptionists are so friendly !!! They speaks English, Korean and little bit of Thai as well! The hospitality was super nice also Judy the puppy that always greet people with cuteness

Awesome and practical Hotel / Hostel - with Hostel vibes but Hotel convenience

The location was amazing, many restaurants near by, located within the German-style area and even in somewhat walking distance to the sea (about 30 min stroll). The beds were comfortable, the bathroom interesting but very well thought out. Everything just made sense, which I appreciated a lot. The breakfast was á la cart and really yummy. I wish they had more tea options though (currently it’s only green tea). All in all, I highly recommend this location, especially if you appreciate well thought out, practical and affordable hotels / hostels.

− The laundry room was a bit meh. You had to pay for it, but could only do so if you have a Chinese number. I did not. The staff can help, but they will essentially have to book it for you and you pay them back. If you don’t mind, cool, for me it was very uncomfortable asking a staff member to pay something for me with their own money. Another minor issue, if you look for the place in English on the Didi app you cannot find it as “Hotel”. Currently it is marked there as “Hostel”.

See my other final review. Due to a last minute extended stay I had two bookings, but for separate rooms. The staff was really helpful and made sure that I could stay in the same room for both bookings (4 nights in total)

The best place to stay to explore Qingdao Old Town

Excellent location to explore Qingdao Old Town. The start of the quaint tourist area packed with restaurants, shops and stalls is just a few minutes away (see picture). Really nice and helpful staff as well as great breakfast options in the restaurant downstairs. When my airconditioning stopped working they provided me with a fan and got it fixed the same evening so I could get a good night's rest.

This hostel so near to the subway and people so helpful 💚 Im enjoying every time to visiting this hostel. Also there is a restaurant under the hostel and foods are so incredible. I highly recommend this place.,💙
