Great 1-night family stay at Holiday Inn Express Qingdao!

We had a wonderful 1-night stay at Holiday Inn Express Qingdao Hongdao Station by IHG, perfect for a family transit before our next flight. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped for a short stay. A special thanks to Mr. Arthur at the reception, who was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. I accidentally booked the wrong date (2026 instead of 2025), but he calmly assisted me in correcting the booking and even arranged our two rooms on the same floor next to each other. His professionalism and friendliness truly made our stay hassle-free and enjoyable. Everything about the hotel was amazing,from the rooms to the service. Highly recommended for families or anyone needing a convenient and comfortable stop near Qingdao International Airport.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Qingdao Hongdao Station by IHG for one night as a family during a transit before our next flight. Overall, the experience was wonderful. A special thanks to Betty at the reception, who was extremely helpful in arranging our two rooms on the same floor, her assistance made our stay very convenient. Everything else about the hotel was excellent: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The only downside was that the internet connection was not very strong, but apart from that, everything was amazing. Highly recommended for short stays or transit.

− - Housekeeper does not refill some amenities such as conditioner (it is empty from the first day that I check in) cotton bud and tea bag (I use it the first day and she does not refill when make a room) - Breakfast is not more menu (But they are tasty) - Metro is a bit far

Equiped with USB charger for mobiles is a distinctive part of its advance; in contrast with my next hotel which is a five star one, I have to pay for 宾馆提供的充电宝充电我的手机。 Additionally, I also love its cute looks in its interior design and materials used in its refurbishment — looks as new and beautiful…

− Transport to the hotel has been an issue — costing ¥ 60 for tax fair seems unjustified for distance, not sure where went wrong ! It’s been said that cost of taxi fair should be around 25¥, yet middle night fair could be doubled …

I booked two rooms with my colleagues to attend the global seafood exhibition in Qingdao. Compared to the previous booking at another Holiday Inn, this time the professionalism and dedication of the front desk staff exceeded our expectations. Laura, Lucy, and all teammates at the front desk were very friendly, welcoming, and patient whenever we had questions about transportation, shopping, and dining. They even provided free shuttle bus service from the hotel to the exhibition center throughout our stay. Whenever I worked late in the restaurant area, they always offered drinks, and sometimes even snacks for free. Their professionalism and friendliness in service are why I rate them so highly. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you all again, Laura & Lucy :)
